SOUND ANALYSIS LEARNER RESPONSE

1) Type up your feedback from your teacher.

- WWW:  - Starts with contrapuntal
               - monochrome for parallel images
               - start bright and colourful
               - distinguishes between sets of images
               - well timed editing

- EBI:       - description
              - avoid watermark images
              - parallel first

2) Type up your feedback from fellow students - you can summarise key points if several students give you similar feedback.

- WWW: - good use of contrapuntal sound.
            - colour constrast really good
            - non-diegetic sound
            - contrapuntal sound
            - good sound to contrast the pictures

- EBI: - pace of pictures is off
        - make sure images fit the frame
        - cropped images
        - contrapuntal sounds would be better if it was in the second half.

3) Now reflect on your work and write your own evaluation of your video. Write a 'What went well' (WWW) paragraph and a paragraph for 'Even Better If' (EBI) underneath the rest of your feedback.

- WWW: - good quality
              - good pacing
              - clear distinction between parallel and contrapuntal
              - music is matched
              - colour contrast really good.

- EBI:    - quality needs to be better
             - some pictures are cropped
             - zoom out the pictures so we can see it properly

5) Finally, what have you learned about the importance of sound to film and TV through this week's work?

- I have learned that the importance of sound to film TV and Film through this weeks work is that it can be very important for how your video turns out in the end. The editing of the sound can change the audiences intentional view of what they had in the beginning.
